OOC Accounts
All members are allowed to have an OOC Profile. This is a profile that details who you truly are, and that doesn't require any roleplaying on your behalf. This profile is the most diversified, and has the ability to access a large majority of the site. It is also the profile used by you as an "introduction" of yourself to the rest of the world. It has more leniency and discrepancy. Although, you're only allowed one OOC Profile, unless you become a Staff member.
OOC Profiles have *no Activity Checks. They aren't required to maintain a high level of activity. They are, however, expected to log in on occasion and to chat with everyone else. They will be excused from actual activity checks, but not from underground checks, but only run a risk if they aren't at least logged into annually. You're here for your enjoyment more than ours, but we also want to keep a clutter at a minimum. We apologize for any inconvenience this could afford you.
OOC Profiles are NECESSARY for roleplayers. If you're only here for the interesting stories that are passed between collected rpers, then you still need to make an OOC account. You don't need to log into it often, nor post on it a whole lot, but it will be used to "keep track" of all of your characters. It's for our records more than anything else, so yes it is for your inconvenience (if you find it one). Nonetheless, we apologize for the inconvenience. Also, active side-accounts of characters will excuse any deletion of your OOC accounts, logged into or not (as long as you have two or more active characters).
Profiles cannot use copyrighted photographies. Whether it's in a post, their avatar, or their signature, your accounts (OOC or IC) must only have images made by you, or allowed to be used by you. You do not need to gain expressed permission to an image if it's stated for public use, but if it's ever requested by the original creator, the offensive images will be removed from your posts or profile when used without permission.
Member Conduct
Harass no other members except yourself. We're fun-loving and lenient on this rule, you'll find. If it's agreed upon by the party members involved ONLY, and it involves no others, nor does it hijack any of their posts, we'll over look it. But if you go around "chasing after" and terrorizing other members, we will step in. No one likes to be harassed, so try to ease off and avoid members you cannot find compromises with. Also, give Staff Members a break and have everyone state ahead of time that there's no real harassment going on.
Extinguish any Flame Wars. It wouldn't be very fun if people ran around cussing each other out, talking about others, and otherwise disrespecting other members in a way. Flaming them - or arguing with them over the internet - isn't tolerated on this site. Spamming "FRIENDLY" back and forth may be tolerated to some extent, but only when all parties expressly agree to it for fun, in their own thread for such events.
Keep Religious chatter at bay. We don't like religious debates. Generally, we don't like the chatter on any scale. We'd rather politely allow members to state what they believe when the occasion presents itself, and then have them carry on about their special ways. Gulthuk will find his followers with or without your help, after all, and any God(s) is just as real AND fake, and this leaf I only think I see, but I'm not so sure... Either way, respect goes a long way before it is given here.
This is a FURRIES site. We're all furries here. Just a friendly reminder, and an exact statement, in case you didn't know.
Don't steal or plagiarize another's work. If you worked on a project for a week or even spent months slaving over a lovely little book of yours, you'd probably bve irked if someone nabbed it up because they loved it, as well. We're not saying you can't discuss another's work that you, yourself, like. We're just saying that we require you to give the proper credits to everything, even when you just "stumble upon" it out there in the interweb's big, vast ocean of resources.
Conversations
Children are invited here. Proboards maintains that you have to be at least thirteen years old. We maintain that you must keep threads of all kinds friendly and inviting. Many parents have their own unique requirements on how they want their kids raised, and this site wishes to respect that above having a good time, connecting with other. Simply put, tag all threads that have cursing in it, remove any interest of pornographic or "descriptive" works, and keep it PG-13 above all else.
